Fig- and cream cheese tartlets

I am completely in love with this appetiser! They are both beautiful and tasty. ... And it doesn't hurt that they are super easy to prepare either.

Time: approximately 45 minutes

Fig- and cream cheese tartlets
Ingredients 4-6 portions

200g vegan cream cheese
100g vegan sour cream
a hearty bunch of fresh thyme
1-2 garlic cloves
egg replacer corresponding to 2 eggs
sea salt
black pepper

½ packing of filo dough

2-3 fresh figs
agave nectar

Method of preparing:
Set the oven to 200°C. Mix the cream cheese, the sour cream, the chopped fresh thyme, the pressed garlic and the mixed egg replacer in a blender. Taste with salt and pepper.

Grease the insides of a muffin tin (or a similar small oven safe container). Divide the thawed filo dough in rectangular pieces, about 10-15 centimeters, and put about 3 layers in each portioned form. Let the dough extend over the edges and try to avoid to fill two adjacent muffin forms, since the dough pieces easily stick to one another.

Fill the cheese mixture into the forms, divide the figs in half and lay them on top. Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes and let it cool properly before you remove the tartlets from the forms, to avoid destroying them. Top with a bit of fresh thyme and agave nectar just before serving.
